Morning Glory

I planted this morning glory from seed several weeks ago. It is crawling up my potting table and looks better every day. I made the potting table out of old closet doors my neighbor threw out. I draged them home and kept them in the garage untill a light bulb went off in my head and I put them togther with an old window. Some soft green paint completed the project.

French Country Fashions to Drool Over

I just discovered this beautiful french clothing website. It's called "Atelier des Ours" at atlierdesours.canalblog.com. I wish I remembered my high school french and I wish I had so extra money to spend. Have a great day and go make something beautiful.

Ladies in White

These lovely ladies are sitting on my kitchen window. Having lost so many plants over the winter, I am rooting as many plants from cuttings as I can.

One Bright Spot in a Sad Landscape

After two years of drought and a winter with two hard freezes, I have lost most all of my hibiscus, elephant ears, my front yard grass and both of my young palm trees. In the midst of all this destruction this amaryllis bloomed for the very first time this Easter. I think God is sending me a message. All Will Be Well.

Cat In The Workplace

I stopped over at Tristan's blog, Enchanted Revelries (the link is on my sidebar). He has completely cleaned up and reorganized his lovely workspace. Sorry Tristan........I was going to do the same, but my rather large cat "kelly" was sleeping on my workspace and I didn't have the heart to move him.

Alice in Wonderland

I made these Alice in Wonderland style necklaces for my Granddaughters "Jenna and Brianna." At the same time, I was honored to take part in a "Alice in Wonderland" tag swap with Karla at Karla's Cottage. I put the tags and necklaces together in a surprise package for the girls. If you have the time, go over to Karla's blog,(the link is on my sidebar) she has great style and energy and you will always be inspired.

the heart of the house

The heart of the house is the beating heart of the artist who lives within. I live and create in this house not far from the beach. I can smell the salt in the air and hear the gulls calling. Life is good.
