Be Thankful For Our Many Blessings

This is the time of year to remember all our blessings..........NOT............We should remember our blessings everyday.

I try my best to stay positive and thankful for the many blessings in my life. I have been poked and pinched and even had a procedure done that I still cannot believe they did it without giving me some drugs. Thankfully, all the tests came back negative....so I passed with flying colors.

I will live a long and happy life and plan to do something creative every chance I get.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Does This Crinoline Make My Butt Look Big ?

Part of the joy of thrifting is finding something exciting. Last week, I found this bright red vintage square dancing ruffled petticoat and matching bloomers. After taking a photo, I laid it on the spare bed and it was immediately claimed by "Kelly" my crossed eyed cat. He looked so sweet......I had to take his picture.

Find the little things in your day, that bring you joy.

Have a great day !

A Thrifting I Did Go

We have one really great thrift shop in town, and a goodwill store in the next town. Sometimes I find good stuff....sometimes I find nothing. This is just the part of the haul that I photographed.

Much to my happy surprise one of the empty stores down town was showing signs of life. Oh happy happy joy joy.....a new junk shop is in the process of opening. I had no cash so I could not buy anything.....but I'll be back. They had many religious statues and antique furniture etc etc. I already have my eye on a damaged statue of Christ, that I can easily fix.

Have a wonderful day

I am sooooooooooooooo torn

I love books....espically old books. With the advent of the digital reader, whats to become of these old books with their charming illustrations.

I love the touch of a book. I love the smell of a book. The beautiful colors are a delight to my eyes.

I am a happy horder and will snap up these old childrens books when ever I see them. They bring me pleasure that I hope to pass on to my Grandchildren.

Have a wonderful day
