Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies

Sadly I was to sick to get out of bed and go up to San Antonio to visit my beautiful daughter and her beautiful family for Thanksgiving this year. My daughter used her daughters hand print to construct these beautiful turkey cookies.
Thankfully they had received an invitation from my son in laws side of the family for a get together. I was of course included in the invitation but did not have the strength to make the trip.
I am eternally thankful for my neighbors on both sides of my house. They are taking turns mowing my front yard and on thanksgiving day they both visited me loaded with plates of wonderful food.
I hope you all had a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

A Free Thanksgiving Holiday Image

I am in the process of taking down the Halloween decorations and will start going through my Thanksgiving and Christmas things. I have put up a lovely Thanksgiving image for you to use in your holiday projects. I like the idea that a woman has been hunting and has bagged herself a wild turkey. From what I understand wild turkey are very smart and you must be a really good hunter to get one.

I am feeling a little better and am looking forward to my doctors appointment next week. I have to force myself to get up early and have some blood tests taken while fasting. Hopefully I will feel well enough to do this on Monday or Tuesday.

Have a good day!
