I recently purchased a PDF tutorial, from another artist on etsy, on how to make wire bird nest pendants. They are usually made with pearls for the eggs....however I had a small selection of tiny bird egg beads in shades of pink, green and taupe. The beads are small and finely painted to look like a real bird egg.
The nest itself is about one inch across and takes over 36 inches of wire. I must say....I am happy with the result.
I chose to make the first nest with the green eggs. I have two shades of green antiqued seam binding and now have to choose between the darker "Herb" or the lighter "Shoots".
All this creativity is making me feel very spring like.
